B2B SaaS Companies to IPO in 2020

Taking a company public is challenging. So it stands to reason that taking a company public in 2020 — a year when nearly every aspect of running a business has been turned on its head — would be that much harder. Yet, by our observation, more B2B SaaS companies have gone public at this point in 2020 than in 2019. 

Here’s a look at the 16 B2B SaaS companies that held an IPO or otherwise went public in the first three quarters of the year:

IPO date: Jan. 30, 2020
One Medical is a membership-based and technology-powered primary care platform with seamless digital health and inviting in-office care, convenient to where people work, shop, live and click.

According to Alex Wilhelm, who covered the company’s IPO in TechCrunch, One Medical is “a healthcare provider with a technology and subscription twist” versus a SaaS company, but for this list, we’ll let it slide. 

Kingsoft Cloud

IPO date: May 8, 2020
Kingsoft Cloud is a platform for businesses and developers, providing online cloud storage and cloud distribution services. 

ZoomInfo

IPO date: June 3, 2020
ZoomInfo is a go-to-market (GTM) intelligence solution powering more than 15,000 companies worldwide. 

Vroom

IPO date: June 8, 2020
Vroom is an end-to-end ecommerce platform that offers a better way to buy and a better way to sell used vehicles.

Agora

IPO date: June 25, 2020
Agora’s platform provides developers simple, flexible and powerful application programming interfaces, or APIs, to embed real-time video and voice engagement experiences into their applications.

Lemonade

IPO date: July 2, 2020
Lemonade is an insurance company powered by artificial intelligence and behavioral economics. Like One Medical, the insurtech company could be considered SaaS-adjacent, but still appears in many SaaS IPO conversations.

nCino

IPO date: July 13, 2020
nCino is a global provider of cloud-based software for financial institutions.

Jamf

IPO date: July 21, 2020
Jamf, an Apple Enterprise Management solution, extends the Apple experience people love to businesses, schools and government organizations through its software and the world’s largest online community of IT admins focused exclusively on Apple, Jamf Nation.

BigCommerce

IPO date: Aug. 4, 2020

Duck Creek Technologies

IPO date: Aug. 13, 2020
Duck Creek Technologies is a provider of SaaS-delivered enterprise software to the property and casualty insurance industry.

Snowflake

IPO date: Sept. 16, 2020
