PR News’ annual Platinum PR Awards celebrate the best communications programs and teams annually and has become an industry benchmark for excellence. The category of Product Launch – B2B was one of six new categories added in 2018.

The nominated launch campaign focused on BLASTmedia’s efforts surrounding CloudPassage’s launch of its Container Secure offering at AWS re:invent. The 3-month campaign strategy produced thought-leadership coverage with new product messaging leading up to the announcement and more than 15 pieces of Container Secure coverage during launch week alone. On the strength of the Container Secure announcement, traffic to the CloudPassage site on launch day and the two days following was four times higher than the daily average for the month.
