(INDIANAPOLIS— August 30, 2016) — BLASTmedia, a national B2B public relations agency, is proud to be represented by President, Lindsey Groepper, as a featured speaker at the PRSSA 2016 National Conference. Held this year in Indianapolis, the annual conference is the largest gathering of public relations students in the nation and is held in conjunction with the PRSA International Conference.
Themed the “Crossroads of Public Relations” for 2016, the conference features professional sessions, Chapter development tracks and skills workshops for PR students throughout the five-day event. Groepper was selected to lead “Once Upon a Time: A Guide to Storytelling,” a breakout session that shares the importance of good storytelling in PR, where to uncover compelling story lines within an organization and how to communicate them to the people who matter.
“We are a supporter of the PRSSA program and believe that the students involved in their local chapters come out with a strong knowledge of the discipline,” said Lindsey Groepper, President, BLASTmedia. “I’m excited to have been selected as a speaker and look forward to sharing my knowledge with the future leaders of our industry.”
As President of BLASTmedia, Groepper is responsible for new business development and helping oversee the strategic direction of the agency. Over the past decade with BLASTmedia, Lindsey has managed PR campaigns for B2B and B2C brands, and brought key clients on board for the agency including Philips, ZEISS, adidas and Appirio.
Prior to joining BLASTmedia, Groepper worked at Fleishman-Hillard Chicago in the consumer marketing practice group. At F-H, she was responsible for executing national PR campaigns for global brands like Nike, Quaker Oats, Gatorade and Abbott Labs. Groepper graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, major of Public Relations.
