PR—Media Relations Manager/Specialist (SOMA)

BLASTmedia (www.blastmedia.com) is extending its media relations expertise to a new practice group – BLASToutdoors. Based in our San Francisco office (SOMA), BLASToutdoors will focus on the outdoor and action sports market (skiing, surfing, mountain biking, etc) building on our rapidly growing action sports client list. We are seeking a public relations professional to help grow this practice group and expand the San Francisco office.

Candidate MUST possess 3+ years of direct media relations experience AND knowledge/experience/interest in the outdoor and action sports markets. Indianapolis Office

Public Relations Specialist

BLASTmedia is looking for a Media Relations Specialist to join our Indianapolis office. Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years Public Relations experience dealing directly with members of the press to obtain national editorial coverage. Existing relationships with the press are desired and samples of editorial coverage will be requested. A strong candidate will be someone who is outgoing, fearless and results-driven.

BLASTmedia specializes in getting clients national media attention across all press segments – national TV, radio, magazines, blogs, trade publications and newspapers – by consistently contacting members of the media and building relationships. Our clients are diverse and include consumer tech gadgets, fitness products, software and outdoor sporting goods. We have an upbeat, young and driven work environment.
