Michael (pictured on the right) is from Russia, so naturally the sun and hot weather do not agree with him. We were surprised when he announced his plans to take a long weekend with some buddies hiking through Yosemite in August. Anyone who has been to Yosemite after June can tell you how hellishly hot it gets! Obviously this posed the perfect opportunity for another Russian Review. We equipped Michael and friends with SmartShield's eco-friendly sunscreen and even threw in a couple promotional hats embedded with SPF 30. ASR Proves Big for Kahuna Creations, Skullcandy, Dragon and iStikFor those of you who read our blog, you know that Katie and I were headed off to ASR (that's Action Sports Retailer for the non-industry folks), where we met up with quite of few of our clients for one of the biggest and definitley most eventful shows of the season. BFF (that's best friends forever) with Seventeen Magazine, I had the awesome opportunity to hang out with the lovely fashion editors prior to the ASR Fashion Show and help pick out the show music, while distributing 400 Skullcandy headphones for the VIP gift bags. Check out the Skullcandy headphones in the first shots of the fashion show!
As Katie and I had a chance to hang out with quite a few of our clients, this was our first show with Kahuna Creations. A big show for the land paddling company, I had an opportunity to try the boards out first hand and educate some of ASR attendees on the wonders of paddle boarding.
Another ASR down and on to Surf Expo in Orlando this weekend. If you're there, be sure to stop by the Smartshield booth (1186S) and say "Hi" to Katie and Harl.
