Meet the social media intern: Rachel Gold
Hello BLASTmedia blog readers,
I am excited to be writing this post as one of the new BLASTmedia social media interns. During my college tenure, I have completed a trilogy of internships ranging from not-for-profit PR and healthcare marketing to cause marketing. I can’t wait to dive into all the social media buzz here at BLAST and soak up as much information as possible from the team.

Want to know a little more about me? Sure you do! Here’s the 101 on me, Rachel Gold:
Hometown: Columbus, Indiana
College: Butler University…Go dawgs!
Random Fact: I used to be a competitive figure skater.
One word to describe me: Unique
Hobbies and passions: Collecting passport stamps, spending time with my friends and family, reading, raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation
Favorite Quote: “Here’s to the crazy ones; the misfits; the rebels; the trouble-makers; the round pegs in the square holes; the ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” ― Jack Kerouac, On the Road
I am thrilled to take on this next adventure and learn as much as possible from these spunky, energetic, intelligent people.
