BLASTmedia interns work one-on-one with our account execs, ensuring that you learn as much as possible about what we do and why we’re so head-over-heels for it. Interns receive hands-on, real-world PR and social media experience and learn the ins and outs of agency life – like how I like my coffee. Just kidding!

This isn’t your typical internship because, let’s get real, we aren’t your typical agency. If you like to get down and dirty writing pitches to top tier media outlets, engaging with online brand ambassadors or gettin’ down with graphical composition (video dev joke) – all while grooving to Pandora on yoga balls – then you’ve met your match here at BLAST!

PR Intern Responsibilities:

• Draft PR, client and media materials
• Attend and participate in client calls and activities
• Industry tracking and research
• Assist in pitching and generating media coverage

Social Media Intern Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of social media strategies for consumer and business-to-business clients
• Develop content for editorial calendars and client blogs
• Manage online promotions and giveaways

Social Media Intern Requirements:

• Exemplary writing ability
• Knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, WordPress and social bookmarking tools
• A self-starter with the ability to manage several projects at once

Video Production Intern Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the video editor to shoot and edit video
• Create graphical assets for client videos
• Brainstorm video concepts and draft storyboards

Video Production Intern Requirements:

• Demonstrates strong video shooting/editing techniques
• Knowledge of non-linear editing software including, but not limited to: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Soundbooth
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Demonstrates strong graphical composition techniques
