The team here at BLASTmedia is always on the lookout for talent so we couldn’t pass up nabbing Megan Faulkner as our summer PR intern.

Megan will be a senior this coming fall at Ball State University majoring in public relations and minoring in peace studies (yes, that’s a real minor).  It’s going to be a great summer with Megan on our team and we cannot wait for her to showcase all of her finely tuned writing and pitching skills. Nickname: Meg is the only one I’ve been called consistently. Actually, growing up, if anyone in my family called me Megan, I knew I was in trouble.

Hometown & Places You’ve Lived/Worked: Indianapolis is my hometown, but during the school year I live in Muncie. I also visit Pittsburgh so often that I may start calling it my second home. (But I will NEVER root for the Steelers. Colts all day.)

Random Fact about You: At 5’11, I might be the tallest girl you know. Everyone’s favorite opening statement when they first meet me is “Wow, you’re tall!”

One word to describe you: Compassionate

Favorite Pandora Station or iTunes song list: I love Pandora! My favorite station is Coldplay Radio, although I dabble in Death Cab for Cutie’s station if I’m feeling a ‘lil bit melodramatic.

Favorite Bloggers: I love reading the TOMS Shoes blog! As a company, TOMS is not only socially responsible but also creative, so I love checking the blog to see what they’ll think of next!

What’s your favorite “thing” about BLASTmedia?: Everyone here is so nice! I’ve never worked with people who are so willing to help. And not only is everyone here ridiculously good at what they’re doing, but they’re also super down-to-earth. We’re listening to the John Mayer Pandora station in the office right now—need I say more? BLASTmedia takes originality and productivity to the next level. I love working here!
