You may have heard that “April showers bring May flowers” and while everyone here at the BLASTmedia office is excited for the flowers, sunshine and shorter hemlines that come with May’s warmer weather, we’re even more excited about our clients’ successes! April was a busy month, and the results are already apparent!

Here are a some of the exciting projects and great coverage that have been keeping us busy:

• This month Wasp Barcode Technologies released an online QR Code generator that allows users to easily generate a QR Code that can be linked to a website, telephone number, email address, a Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn profile — or even a YouTube video! The QR Code can then be saved to the users’ desktop to be printed and used on business cards, resumes or marketing materials.

Sizzling Coverage

• Etón’s home safety and preparedness products are helping families and communities stay safe this storm season (and what a crazy storm season it’s been thus far!). CNET, USAToday.com and NBC-TV Chicago have all featured Etón products as a way to be prepared for severe weather.

• Though nearly everyone has owned a computer, most of us know very little about how our hard drive actually works. This month Chris Boss of Drive Savers shared his expertise regarding erasing and recovering hard drives with TechCrunch and CruchGear readers.
• For many families, May means that graduation is just around the corner. iFrogz will appear in the June issue of Real Simple — a publication devoted to making your everyday life easier — as a suggested gift for grads.
