We've Got Spirit, Yes, We Do.

This week, we got into the spirit mood, and I’m not talking about the AMC Spirit. Every once in a while at the BLASTmedia office, we like to mix it up and have some fun. This week was no exception because it was our official “Spirit Week” (minus the spirit fingers).

Monday was “Sweatpants Day,” which meant that we woke up and came to work in our finest garments made of cotton and comfort. Due to the request of some co-workers, there were no photos taken on this day.

Tuesday was “Represent Your Client Day.” Everyone in the office sported shirts (and in my case, a trendy vest) with our clients logos on the front. In the picture, you can see us reppin’ Eton Corporation, Formstack, Wasp Barcode, and ZOMM.

Wednesday was a “Food Pitch-In” where I showed off my culinary skills by going to Kroger and picking up a fruit tray (which was accompanied by 3 other fruit trays). We dined on Jimmy John’s and some delicious “overnight salad,” pasta salads, buffalo dip, and desserts galore!

Thursday was “Clash or Tacky” day when the brave ones that didn’t mind looking ridiculous all day threw together their worst wardrobe. I didn’t partake in this event, but as you can tell, my fellow co-workers did a nice job picking up the slack.

Today is “Wear Your College or Greek gear” day and since I didn’t join a fraternity, I took the college route. The ladies, on the other hand, are flashing the gang signs of Alpha Phi, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta, Alpha Chi Omega, and Gamma Phi Beta.

For non-sororitites, we are wearing the colors of our alma maters: Bowling Green (CAWWW!), Butler, Purdue, Emerson, University of Indianapolis, and Indiana University.

It was a great week here at the office as we continue to get our clients awesome coverage and make a mark in the social media world. Oh yeah, I guess, the Butler Bulldogs are in the Final Four this weekend, too. I’ll be rooting for the sport of basketball since my beloved Dukies got an early exit.
