From an artist who painted inspirational “happy trees” to an ancient Egyptian queen, here at BLASTmedia we felt the need to celebrate this weekend’s beloved holiday…Halloween. Even though Halloween does not fall until Sunday, many of our employees couldn’t resist to show-off their latest and greatest costumes.
Enjoy our photo album of some of BLASTmedia’s best costumes.
Emily Trimble – Kittens Inspired by Kittens
Emily said she chose this costume because “I wish I was this cool when I was 10. Heck, I wish I was this cool now.” Then she screeched, “I’m weird!” Check out the video that inspired Emily’s costume.
Sean Ireton - Hairy Basketball
“I made the basketball hairy because I’ve never seen a hairy basketball before and I wanted to see one”. I’m not really sure what is more weird, a hairy basketball or Emily. Great costume Sean!
Jacqueline Simard – Star Wars Kid
“I brush up on my lightsaber skills at minimum once a week. I take my moves to the bars in attempt to woo a few gentlemen and believe me, just about every guy I meet falls victim to my obvious grace and overwhelming passion for the original Star Wars trilogy. CGI ruined everything”. Unfamiliar with the YouTube sensation that inspired Jacqueline’s costume? Check it out here.
Kiersten Moffatt & Ashley Halberstadt – Go-Go Dancers
I’m sure Austin Powers will appreciate these two Go-Go Dancers. Great outfits, ladies!
Jennifer Regnier – Dash from The Incredibles
Being the runner that she is, Jen’s costume is sure to come in handy. Jen says, “my inspiration is representing everything incredible that BLAST does”. I can’t argue with that, Jen! Great costume.
Julie Zaitz – Waldo
Can you find her?
Megan Giannini - Egyptian Princess
“I was inspired by the old costumes laying around my parents house from when I was a kid”. I’ve got to say, had I chosen the old costumes laying around my parents house…well…I’d be a clown/pirate/axe-murder. Woah…now that’d be scary.
Patrick Tarpey – Commercial Airline Pilot from the movie Airplane!
“We have clearance, Clarence. Roger, Roger. What’s our vector, Victor?” Those lines never get old…
Kim Puckett – Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City
“Carrie, like me, has a journalism background, writing a weekly column for the fictional newspaper, The New York Star. A known shoe lover with penchant for expensive designer shoes (notably Manolo Blahniks, but also Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo), Carrie claims she has spent over $40,000 on shoes (about 10x of my net worth).”
So there you have it, our employees here at BLASTmedia wanted to show off their Halloween costumes (even if it is still 2 days away). We hope everyone has a safe and spooktacular Halloween weekend.
Let us know which outfit you liked the most!
