It’s always a good day in the BLASTmedia office when the mail room guys enter pushing a cart with eleven giant boxes. Play time! This week, the boxes were from our client, Nobis, a lifestyle outerwear and headwear company. Filled with their new Fall 2010 line, we took some time to check it all out:

Our clients do great things, make cool (for lack of a better word) products, and we’re always excited to have some hands-on fun when they’re rolling out with some pretty stellar new stuff. Recently our clients have been rocking some product announcements—so we wanted to share the down-low:

• Eton Corporation just launched the Canadian availability of the Soulra – the first solar-powered iPod/iPhone sound systems that simultaneously plays and charges your device via a solar panel. Not only may you never have to plug it in, but it’s built tough with an IPX4 rugged layer of protection making any rain, dust and spills a nonissue. You can find it in Canada at Future Shop, The Source and online.

• H20 Audio, creators of high-performance, waterproof sport headphones and accessories, rolled out with the Amphibx GRIP armband — the first and only waterproof solution for the newest version of the iPod nano and iPod shuffle released by Apple. It provides extreme protection for iPods and MP3 players, giving users a 100 percent watertight seal and a fully functional touch screen and button controls under and around water.

• Who could forget about Mimoco, makers of MIMOBOT designer USB flash drives — they just launched their second wave of Sanrio characters as part of their “small gift, big smile” philosophy. The new designs include Badtz-Maru, Hangyodon, and the classic Hello Kitty.
