Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to NYC to take in the sights and sounds of the CEA Line Shows held at 7 West 34th Street. Every year, electronics companies from around the U.S. set their GPS to New York City in the hopes of their products getting noticed by various tech press outlets.
This year our client, Etón Corporation, was there to promote their latest innovation, the solar powered portable sound system for your iPod/iPhone, Soulra. On top of charging your iPod/iPhone without an electrical outlet, the Soulra provides great stereo speakers with full range speaker drivers and bass boost. The product’s rubberized exterior and aluminum body make it perfect to use around a pool or at the beach during this summer season.

The event was a great opportunity for BLASTmedia and Etón to interact with members of the press, attend informative panels, and let the public know that Soulra has arrived.
Another exciting part of my trip was being able to visit two Apple Stores in NYC, the Soho & 5th Ave. locations, to take pictures of the Soulra in-store. Currently, the Soulra is being sold at selected Apple Stores, but will be available at all of their locations soon.
After I returned back from the trip, I created two videos revolving around the event. The first video showcases a product demo of the Soulra from Etón’s Director of Product Strategy, Kailash Hiremath, and the second is an overview of the CEA Line Shows.
