BLASTmedia Adds New Talent to Social Media and Media Relations Teams
Oh, how Monday mornings have become even more joyful the past four weeks as construction crews drill through steel and knock down walls to expand our current office suite. While the noise has been loud and hard on the ears, we know that our BLASTmedia office expansion will only help to generate more noise for our clients in both the social media and traditional media space…
That is because BLASTmedia recently added some talented individuals to help beef up our campaigns. We are pleased to announce that both Sean Ireton and Emily Trimble have joined Julie Perry’s social media team. Sean and Emily are already working hands-on with various accounts and are helping to formulate and execute cohesive, measurable social media campaigns.
On the media relations side, Jennifer Regnier has jumped right into the BLAST atmosphere to join the consumer product focused team. Jennifer’s previous work experience, upbeat personality, and professional knowledge have enabled her to progress at high-levels, so we are very happy to have her!
Read more about our new talented BLASTmedia team members here below:
- Sean Ireton, a marketing and telecommunications major from Bowling Green State University, has been utilizing social media for the past three years both professionally at Pearson Education and personally to promote his highly talked about website, ParodyRapper.com (and its accompanying SeanieMic YouTube Channel), where he develops “personalized rhymes,” comedy bits, and music video production for businesses and radio stations. Sean’s experience with social media and ability to think outside the social media guidebook made him the perfect candidate. So far, Sean is producing excellent results and says he loves BLAST, but he also loves the Duke Blue Devils, which makes both Mendy and me (North Carolina fans) a bit skeptical–J/K Sean!
- Emily Trimble, a public relations and professional writing major from Valparaiso University, came to BLASTmedia almost speaking in “twitter language” after running seven different accounts for New Jersey’s Coleman Communications, LLC–a public relations firm serving small businesses on the Jersey Shore. Emily’s strong understanding of how both public relations and social media campaigns can integrate together is what makes her special. We are calling her the “resident Facebook expert,” and she has also started working hands on with social media accounts, including with BLASTmedia client Dexim. Emily is helping to host a product review promotion and just finished designing Dexim’s very own Dexim YouTube Channel.
- Jennifer Regnier, a public relations major and communications minor from Ball State University, worked at Borshoff–another local Indianapolis PR firm–providing media monitoring, research, writing, media relations support and even some social media work as an account coordinator. Jennifer’s high-level of experience, enthusiasm, and creativity make her a perfect fit for the consumer technology team. Working hands on with numerous technology clients, she will also be diving deep into the fashion subset of media relations with her trendy client, Nobis.
Stay tuned for more introductions and office expansion updates as we continue BLASTing out of the past and into the blue!
